And every code carries how many companies operate in that activity, how much they bill, and what share closed the year at a loss — that last part isn't in the DANE PDF.

7.6 million members who don't show up anywhere else
One in six Colombians is a member of one of these entities. And they close the year at a loss half as often as commercial companies: 12.1% against 22.65%. Employee funds are the healthiest in the country, at 8.2%.

How it is built
Where the data comes from
The source is the Superintendency of Companies: the filing cover sheet and the statement of comprehensive income by function of expense, fiscal 2025, cross-referenced against the CIIU Rev. 4 A.C. classification. We take one row per tax ID, preferring the individual filing over the separate one and the most recent cut-off, and we pair the current period with the prior one within the same filing.
All published information is public and pertains to legal entities. Contact details belonging to natural persons are not published, in accordance with Colombian Law 1581 of 2012.
